FAQ: How can I drill down into the Heatmap trends?

If you need to dig deeper to view high-level trends for only certain segments of staff, or use particular types of form, you can use the advanced filters on the Heatmap to identify opportunities for professional development.

Start by clicking More Options at the top right of the Heatmap and selecting the range of filters to suit you:

Staff Segments (Grades and Tags): First up, ensure that you have set grades and tags for each teacher in your Staff area. You can use the 'tag' area to assign teachers an unlimited number of characteristics to help filter data -- for example, you can use school departments, length of tenure, or grades taught to dive deeper into your data

Date Range: If you are tracking progress over time and using the Heatmap report to get snapshots of your school performance at regular intervals, you can use the date range to target ratings given over a specific period of time.

Form Types: If you want to focus on ratings given via a particular type of form used at your school only, simply apply the form type filter. This dropdown menu will enable you to select all types available at your school group!
