Your Activity Progress Dashboard might show an activity as 'not yet complete', even if you have completed the required number of activities for that track. In these cases, your staff member may have had more activities created for them than needed.
The Activity Progress Dashboard displays activities based on their assigned date in Boost. When surplus activities exist, the earliest scheduled activities will populate the dashboard. If the earliest activity is incomplete, this will appear in the Activity Progress Dashboard even if the required number of completed activities exists in Boost.
It’s recommended that you remove any discarded or incomplete activity from Boost. Doing so will preserve your reporting and ensure your Activity Progress Dashboard displays as expected.
How do I check for surplus activities?
If you notice that a staff member's activities do not appear in the Activity Progress Dashboard with the expected status, you'll want to check their existing activities in Boost.
As an example, the administrator responsible for this teacher's observations has completed the total number of informal observations required for this track. However, one 'informal observation' is showing as 'not yet complete':
To check why this is occurring, the administrator can view the list of forms for this teacher by navigating to their profile and selecting All Forms.
Pro-tip: Use the Type filter to refine the forms list so that specified form type(s) display.
The administrator can see that four informal observations exist for the teacher in Boost, and the earliest-dated observation is still in progress. Because this observation precedes the three following, it will be displayed in the Activity Progress Dashboard by default. After identifying the incomplete observation, the administrator can decide whether to complete or delete this form.
