You can access Boost on an iPad via Safari (or your preferred internet browser) just as you would on a laptop or desktop.
Is there an app?
We don't have a Boost app, but if you'd like to have a shortcut on your iPad's home screen, here's how:
- Launch Safari and head to Boost.
- Tap the icon in the top right corner that is a box with an arrow pointing upward.
- Select Add to Home Screen and enter the name of the shortcut.
- Hit Add and this will create an icon for Boost on your iPad's home screen.
Can I have the form I'm working on open on more than one device?
E.g. I've got my low inference notes showing on my iPad, and I'm tagging to the framework and giving the teacher feedback on my desktop.
That's a negative!—having the same form open in more than one location risks you overwriting your data. It's best practice to make sure you've completely exited the form before opening it on another device.
How can I use my iPad to take photos or videos in the classroom?
This functionality is only available in Sketch forms, but it's pretty nifty! Here's how:
In Sketch, hit the Upload Attachment button at the top of the form.
Then, click File on your computer.
Here, select Choose File, which will automatically open your camera app.
Once you take the photo or video, you'll just need to hit the green Upload button.
