Select a Cycle Phase when logging activity

If you have an active coaching cycle with a teacher, you can select which cycle phase an activity belongs to when creating it. This helps ensure activities are recorded in the correct phase of the coaching cycle, keeping cycle records and reporting accurate.

How to select a cycle phase

When you create an activity for a teacher with an active coaching cycle, the Cycle Phase field automatically defaults to the current phase selected on the Coaching Cycle page. You can change this selection to match the phase the activity belongs to. Here's how:

1. Open the New Activity menu and select a Goal, Next Step, or Teacher Interaction. 
2. Add a teacher who has an active coaching cycle.
3. Fill in the activity details.
4. Locate the Cycle Phase field and select the appropriate phase.
5. Review your selection and save the activity.

The activity will be saved with the selected phase. You can view and update its phase on the Coaching Cycle Summary Page.

Note: The Cycle Phase field also appears if you add a coachee to a Coach Responsibility event.
