The advantage of being able to view the classroom and teaching practice asynchronously and record feedback digitally means that the observer has the time to pause, rewind, and re-watch to allow time for reflection, or they can also skip forward to parts that require focus.
Change playback speed
In the video tool, when adding feedback to the recording, you can change the playback speed in the video container, slowing it down to half speed, or fast-forwarding up to four times real speed.
Scan thumbnails by moving the scrubber
When adding feedback in the tool, you can scan backwards and forwards through the video to view the thumbnails of the recording and search for particular moments.
Jump to "feedback moments" via the timestamps
When feedback has been given on the video recording, this can be viewed on the form summary page. Each piece of feedback given is timestamped, and when clicked on, will take you straight to that time in the recording so you can focus in on the moments that matter.
