The default when scheduling a form is not to inform staff about upcoming forms about them, unless that staff member is also the author of the form (e.g. a 'Self Reflection' type).
However, if you want to let your staff know about this form ahead of time: when creating a form, there is an option to select 'Send email notification to...' the staff member who this form is about.
When you select this box:
- Your staff member will receive an email notification detailing the title of the form (e.g. 'Formal Observation), and the date/time selected (and any optional message you would like to send along with it). This email will contain a link to the form summary page in Boost
- Your staff member will have a link to this form on their dashboard, under 'Recent Forms'. This will provide access to the form summary page where your staff can see the title and date of the form.
Note: Your staff member can only edit the form if they are marked as the author (e.g. self reflection forms or lesson plan uploads). If the form is about your staff member only (i.e. they are not the author) they will be unable to see the contents of the form until it is explicitly completed and shared with them.
