Sketch has a Teacher/Student Conversation function so that you can track teacher and student moves in the lesson: you can enter notes quickly for the teacher in one row, and hit enter to record the next action by students or teachers in the next, advancing quickly with convenient keyboard shortcuts.
Creating the conversation table
- Click the chat bubble icon at the top of the editor
- By default, the conversation will begin with the teacher's comment,
- Once you've finished the teacher comment, going into a new line will insert a student interaction and the table will continue alternating in this way.
- To exit the conversation, just hit the down key on your keyboard, or use your mouse to click outside of the table.
Pro-tip: To change the speaker of the current row, you can select the required option in the Teacher-Student Conversation menu at the top of the editor, or use keyboard shortcuts: Alt+ key on Windows or Option+Tab on Mac.
Altering the conversation display
Sketch will default to showing the teacher/student conversation in a single column. To switch to a two-column display, click the wrench icon and toggle the T-Chart row to 'on'.
These settings will be stored by your browser, which will remember them the next time you're in Sketch.
